We provide Occupational Therapy evaluation,treatment and consultation to adults including those who have physical, mental and social-emotional problems, either as a result of accident, illness or aging.  We provide assessments and services that help individuals remain as independent, safe and productive as possible in their daily lives.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLS) Include:

  • Bathing
  • Grooming
  • Dressing
  • Transfers
  • Functional mobility
  • Toileting

Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADLS) Include:

  • Meal prep and kitchen Mgmt
  • Homemaking and housekeeping
  • Medication mgmt
  • Financial mgmt and bill paying
  • Pet care
  • Shopping

Areas of evaluation include:

  • Cognition: memory, attention, insight, problem-solving, judgment, sequencing, task organization
  • Motivation: enthusiasm, interest and goals
  • Psychological: affect, insight, coping mechanisms
  • Endurance: respiratory and cardiac
  • Range of Motion: cervical and spine, UE and LE
  • Strength: throughout body
  • Muscle tone: spasticity and/or low tone
  • Balance: sitting and standing
  • Coordination: fine and gross motor
  • Sensation: vision, hearing tactile, vestibular, olfactory and taste
  • Edema: UE and/or LE
  • Pain: impacting ADLS
